“WHAT ARE THE MOST PROFITABLE BLOG NICHES”?
There are two problems with this question:
Problem Number One:
Finding the most profitable blogging niches is not where you need to start. You need to base your niche selection on something you are knowledgeable about. It would be difficult to write about a subject if your knowledge of the subject is limited.
For Example: The travel niche is definitely one of the more profitable blog niches. However, unless you have done extensive traveling you would not be able to give your readers the benefit of your expertise or be able to offer them anything in the way of first-hand information and recommendations regarding travel to various destinations.
If you are not knowledgeable about your niche it won’t take your readers long to figure that out.
While it is true that you could hire someone to write your blog posts.. that could get expensive. When you are just starting out you want to keep your costs down as much as possible.

Also.. your readers may leave comments and questions. How are you going to respond to their questions.. if, in reality, you know nothing about the blogging niche you have chosen?
If visitors feel you are not genuine or that the information on your site lacks authenticity or may be inaccurate and is not helpful to them in any way.. they will bounce off your site in an instant and continue to search for more suitable answers to their questions.
Problem Number Two:
It is advisable to choose a niche about something you enjoy. You shouldn’t try to write about a subject that really doesn’t interest you. If the only reason you have chosen a niche is that you figured it would be the most profitable niche for blogging.. it is doubtful you would do well with it.
For Example: If the most profitable blogging niche were rocks.. could you really be passionate about writing blog posts all day, every day about Sedimentary rocks, Igneous rocks, Metamorphic rocks, etc.? Probably not.. unless you were a geologist.
If you have no interest in the niche.. you will lose interest in your blog. You will find writing new blog posts to be tedious and tiresome.
Instead of enjoying what you are doing for a living.. you will find yourself becoming discontented and miserable.
CONSIDERATIONS IN SELECTING THE BEST NICHE FOR BLOGGING:
The food blog niche is actually one of the more popular blogging niches.. and also one of the most profitable. I would personally love to have a food blog.. the only problem with that is… I HATE TO COOK!!
Although I love good food.. I absolutely do not want any part of having to cook it myself!
There is no way I could be happy sitting in front of my computer day in and day out writing blog posts, food recipes and articles about slicing, dicing, boiling, broiling, braising, searing, sauteing, and whatever else it is the Martha Stewarts of the world do.
My knowledge of cooking is seriously limited. I will leave that to Giada De Laurentiis and Gordon Ramsay.
Since I have very little knowledge about the subject.. and cooking is most definitely not anything I am passionate about.. for me to try to be successful at starting a food blog would be a complete waste of my time!

FIND PROFITABLE BLOG NICHES THAT ARE RIGHT FOR YOU:
You cannot choose a niche based solely on the fact that you have heard it is one of the most profitable blogging niches.
It doesn’t matter how much money there is to be made in the niche. If you know nothing about it.. and it is not something you will enjoy being involved in.. how would you ever expect to achieve any level of success with it?
In actuality.. ANY blog niche can be profitable so long as you are able to find a number of affiliate programs in that niche to promote.
You also need to do some keyword research to determine whether people are actually searching for information about things having to do with your proposed niche.
If enough people are searching.. and you can provide them with information and some great products to purchase.. you have yourself a profitable blogging niche!
Keep in mind when doing keyword research.. you also need to take into consideration the keyword volume as well as the keyword difficulty. When the keyword volume is high and the keyword difficulty is high as well.. that means it is going to be more difficult for you to rank.
Research some alternate keywords and keyword phrases that may be easier for you to rank for in the beginning.
FINDING A PROFITABLE NICHE FOR BLOGGING:
Think about a niche you might like to blog about. Who might be interested in blog posts on this subject? What kind of products would these people likely be interested in?
Let’s say you love to fish and might like to start a blog about fishing. The WHO is easy enough to figure out.. Fishermen! The WHAT is obvious as well.. fishing rods, reels, lures, spinners, fishing line, tackle boxes, etc.
In checking the search volume.. “fishing” gets 246,000 monthly searches. The term fishing places near me gets 14,800 monthly searches and the keyword difficulty = 12.. WooHoo!
On your post targeting the keyword “fishing places near me,” you could write a blog post followed by a list of all the states and link each state to a post where you have searched out the best fishing places in that state.
That would get you started with 50 posts for your blog!
Now all you need to do is check and see which network has affiliate programs for fishing gear. Look around for some other fishing blogs and see what affiliate programs they are using.
Check FlexOffers and Impact.. I am pretty sure you could find just about anything you are looking for on one or both of those affiliate networks.
